JULIAN ALPS HIKING PLAN
Triglav National Park – Bohinj Valley
Arriving in Bohinj and accommodation in the hostel or hotel (as an option).
Entry into the Triglav National Park. We spend three days to hike in the park, discovering its splendors (lakes, gorges, waterfalls, hilltop villages and plateaus, sheep …)
Voje – Uskovnica – Zajamniki
We enter the small valley of Voje, and discover the beautiful limestone gorge Mostnica, sometimes overlooking 20 meters of clear water. We arrive at the waterfall in the valley and we climb on board Uskovnica, d’alpages decor dotted with sheep. Then back to the village of Stara Fužina.
650 m / – 650m; 5:30 walk
Pl. Blato – Pl. Krstenica – Dom Planika
We start of a 1000m altitude, to find ourselves quickly in the atmosphere of the mountain pastures, then we cross thorn forests and we finish in alpine scenery and rocky at 2400m.
1300m / -200m; 6 hours walking
Triglav (2864m) – 7 lakes refuge
We climb the highest peak in the Alps Slovenes, Mount Triglav, from where a magnificent view awaits. Then down to the 7 lakes valley, where we will discover a dense and diverse flora. We spend a 2nd night in a refuge.

Hello Milan, this time it’s Maguy writes: Georges is the business, I am a tourist! Thank you again for this great trip so steeped in nature. I remember flowers, beautiful meadows as flowers but also with the sentence, the ransacked forests frost, what a disaster! A little regret, I expected to see more wildlife and birds (not to mention the bear!) But we were making too much noise …
